This object's goal will be to manage customized modifiers per input
device button, which is why I add it to GimpDisplayConfig. It is in its
own new config file (`modifiersrc` in config dir) because it requires
GDK types access (well I could have done without, but it would have been
less semantic, hence not as good of an API). Anyway it is only useful
when running GIMP as GUI.
The GUI widget and the usage code to make this actually useful will come
in upcoming commits.
Last commit caused -xobjective-c to be passed during linking on
Mac, causing object files to be treated as source files. Add a
-xnone flag to AM_LDFLAGS, canceling the effect of -xobjective-c.
Additinally, add a -xobjective-c++ flag to AM_CXXFLAGS, so that we
can use Objective-C in C++ files on Mac, if we ever need to.
On Mac, pass -xobjective-c to the compiler through AM_CFLAGS, not
AM_CPPFLAGS, so that it's only used for C sources, and not C++
sources. In the latter case, it clashes with the -std=... flag,
spewing an error. Thanks, Partha :)
Drop the glib-dbus dependency and port stuff to GDBus. Use it
unconditionally if not on Windows or OSX. It seels to work just like
before but I have no idea if everything is really correct.
When 'Single-window mode is enabled, move the toolbox and existing
docks into the image window. Needs a lot of more work but is
functional enough for curious people.
Implemented by adding a new GimpUIConfigurer component that has global
knowledge. There is a single application instance of this
component. It subscribes to changes in the single-window-mode config
property and adjusts the UI accordingly.

Move away from creating all item_factories statically in
menus_init() but create a new one for each place where one is
needed:

configures the GimpItemFactories it knows about on-the-fly.

"gboolean update_on_popup" so item_factories can be configured to
require manual updates (used for the <Image> factory).

all menus we have with it. Added various setup functions which
do stuff like adding the "Open Recent" menu or reorder plug-in
menu entries. Removed the debugging stuff...
